I ran by AGP today, even though it's been pouring, because I couldn't wait any longer to get that adorable ski outfit! The store was packed since so many kids had no school (Yom Kippur) but I had to run in and run out so the crowd didn't bother me much.
They finally had Felicity's "peek into the past" display up--her father's store--soooo cute! There were many of the ski outfits left. I also picked up Kaya's winter accessories and Samantha's high button shoes for my little cousin. The shoes are just adorable and Kaya's cape and hood are very well made. I'm very impressed. Kaya looks so cute and cozy now! Can't wait to put Marisol in the ski outfit...that was the best purchase of all. The hat and boots are to die for.
As a side note, is anyone else in a Christmas-y mood already? I swear, as soon as it gets a little chilly, I'm ready for Christmas music...it took all the self-control I had not to listen to the AG Christmas CD today. It's only October!

I'm very ready and only have one more present to buy! However, it's in the mid-80s here so it needs to get much colder in the next few weeks.

I'm so ready for snow. My husband is looking at law school in Boston, New Hampshire, etc and well...I'm excited! I love winter! The only sad thing is moving again. We move to much!

I LOVE to prepare for Christmas. I'll spend hours shopping, reading recipes and books with Christmas ideas. (I'm starting to do some now!) I make myself hold off, though, when it comes to the Christmas CDs, until Thanksgiving is over. Once it is, I play the CDs 24/7.

I'm not quite in a Chrismassy mood yet, however I did buy 4 new plates for my new Christmas dishes when I was at the Designer outlet with my sister last Tuesday. And while my friend and I were still driving around in search of the New England Foliage - we made already plans about our traditional Christmas Saturday Shopping trips through Vienna, to have the absolutely divine and fatty (unhealthy) sausages and drinking hot punch and mulled wine at one of stalls in town to warm up again in the cold weather while going through all the shops and doing our Christmas shopping or just any other shopping.
Glad you had a good time at AGP, Gabby and got some nice bits and pieces.

It's still in the 80's here too. It is starting to get dark alot earlier though. Probably once Halloween is here it will start to feel like the holidays.
Glad you got the ski outfit. Does anyone know if Chicago has it yet? That's where my PS is and I feel a loyalty to her. I know they don't work on commision but...

I will admit it... October is when I begin to feel the Christmas vibes as well. What can I say? It's my absolute favorite time of year... we can get excited about it as early as we want.
Congrats on getting the ski outfit... I bet it'll look adorable on your dolls.

Congratulations on the Ski outfit!
I really want to phone in and order it, maybe tomorrow.
